Billy Ray Parker age 70 passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at his Glenpool, Oklahoma residence. Billy was born September 21, 1941 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to A.T. Parker and Martha (Wilkins) Parker. He graduated from Purcell High School and Spartan School of Aeronautics with an A&P license. Billy married Jeraldine "Jerry" Wright on March 20, 1965. They have been married for forty-seven years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. Billy was a Scoutmaster to Troop 188 for over twenty years and was awarded the Silver Beaver award in 1986. He worked at McDonnell Douglas before joining American Airlines in 1967. He retired in 2001. Billy was a member of Jenks Church of Christ and was a Deacon for thirty-four years. Billy was preceded in death by his parents: A.T. and Martha Parker, his brother, Kenneth Parker and his sister, Louise Hendrix. He is survived by his wife, Jeraldine "Jerry" Parker of Glenpool, his son Bryan Parker and his wife, Jacinda of Glenpool, his sister Cleta Meder of Bristow, his brothers, Gerald Parker of Bristow, Donald Parker of Kellyville, Truman Parker of Kellyville, Glen Parker of Lexington, his three loving grandchildren, Malkam, Bryce, Aedan along with other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Jenks Church of Christ, Jenks, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
