CLICK HERE TO VIEW MEMORIAL VIDEO Billy Max Cox age 76 passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his Glenpool, Oklahoma residence. Billy was born February 24, 1937 in Gallatin, Missouri to Samual and Vera (Stanfield) Cox. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1955. Billy worked in the aviation industry as a machinist for Boeing. He married LaVon Knight on June 16, 1976 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. In his spare time Billy enjoyed woodworking, camping, motor cycles and restoring trucks. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Billy S. Cox and his sister, Sharon Clark. He is survived by his wife, LaVon Cox of Glenpool, his son, Jimmy Cox of Broken Arrow, his step-daughter, Susan Scantlin of Tahlequah, his step-son, Jim Chrisenbery of Locust Grove, his sister, Sandra Cox, his ten grandchildren, his eight great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Chaplain Evan Dare will officiate. Interment will be at Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
