Billy was born 7 April, 1954. He would grow-up in the middle of four sisters, but was all-boy from the word "go". He was a sweet boy, always doing little things for his sisters and parents, just to be kind.
He played baseball, football, and wrestled, but his love was the guitar! He played with several bands, even opening for Bee Gees once in Arizona. He was a hard worker, too. When he began working in downtown Tulsa, for the convenience, he attended Langston University, graduating with a degree in accounting. He thought he was the only white student there.
His career took him to Houston where he would live and work until 2010 when he took a new job in Tulsa.
Some of his happiest days in his teenage years were living in Arizona, being with his cousins Chuck and Steve. When the family moved to Chandler, he hitch-hiked every weekend into Phoenix, after working at Williams Air Force Base commissary. It is fitting that his body has gone there where it can be used for research or whatever is decided the best benefit, per Billy's wishes.
He was immensely proud of his daughters Kim and Carrie and grandchildren Jake, Lena, Ali, and Maddie. May they remember him as a generous, smart, talented man. Billy also leaves behind his wife Sherrie; sisters Sarah, Becky, Nancy, and Jane; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
