Bettye Jane Grier

Bettye Jane Grier age 85 passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her Kiefer residence.
Bettye was born August 12, 1930 in Nashville Tennessee to Jesse Lee Poole and Billie Louise (Mullen) Cooley. She graduated from high school in Alexandria, LA. Bettye married Burdette Grier in Miami, Oklahoma. She worked as a Office Manager for K-Mart.

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Burdette in 1997and her loving son, James Ray Keating (2014), her brother Bill Lee Poole - Cooley in 2006 and great grandson, Aeden Morrow in 2006..

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Louise Morrow of Kiefer, Oklahoma, her daughter Sherry (Joe) Mathieu of Coconut Creek, Florida, her grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Grandma Bettye will be remembered by all for her kind and generous heart, affection towards her loved ones, quick wit, and ferociously protective nature. She was unconditionally devoted to her son, Jimmie who passed one year ago. She adored her grandchildren, and especially her great grandsons. Her love has left its mark on every one of our hearts and she shall never be forgotten.
