Betty Jo Carroll

Betty Jo Carroll "Jo" passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. She was born September 10, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Louis and Juanita (Ralston) Hrenchir. Jo was raised in Olive, Oklahoma where she met her husband Bobby in the fifth grade. They graduated from Olive High School together and were married June 24, 1955. Jo was salutatorian of the class.

Jo pursued a career at Shell Oil Company where she was well respected professionally for over thirty years. She was extremely knowledgeable about every facet of the company and always willing to help others in the organization. Jo had a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh and she was always known to be a positive influence on everyone around her. Jo's family was most important to her, whom she loved unconditionally.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Ann Brower. She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Carroll; her children Bryan Carroll, Brad Carroll (Deb), and Dana Rehm (Bryan); and her grand children, the six loves of her life whom called her "JoJo", Ryan, Trevor, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Jordan, and Taylor; her sister Sandra Still; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Christopher W. Teel of Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park in Tulsa. Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 PM Wednesday and a funeral ceremony 10 AM Thursday both at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
