Betty was born Imogene Scott on December 3, 1924. A few weeks later she was adopted into the loving family of Robert and Hazel Parrish and became Betty Jean.
In 1956, Betty made the two most important decisions of her life -- on April 9, she and Edward White (a.k.a. 'little Eddie') were married and spent 42 happy years together. On August 6 of that same year Betty symbolized her dedication to her Heavenly Father, Jehovah, with her baptism. From the time she came to know the truth about Jehovah, Betty's sole desire was to serve Him and help others to know Him. Betty helped many come into a relationship with Jehovah and encouraged hundreds of others by her faithful example.
