Betty J. Sharp

Betty Jean Sharp, 78, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness.
Mrs. Sharp was born January 4, 1926 in Texas. She married Alfred Snodgrass in 1952 and after his death she married Billy Bob Sharp (in 1958) who passed away in 1979. Mrs. Sharp was a nurse's aide and worked at Green Valley Nursing Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She moved to Tulsa from Stillwater in 1996. In her free time she loved to read, do embroidery work, knitting and making doilies.
Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands: Alfred Snodgrass, Billy Bob Sharp, 2 sons: Richard A. Snodgrass and Allen Pierce. She is survived by sons: Jack Snodgrass of Tulsa; Johnny Pierce of Arkansas; Carl Lee Pierce of Dallas, Texas; 4 daughters: Bobbie Lou Scott of Tulsa; Rowena Pierce and Serena Pierce of Arkansas; Ruth Kuhan, Stillwater; Jean Henson of Kiefer and Ethel Atkinson, Tulsa. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her sister, Ida Mustang of Corpus Christi, Texas along with 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
