Bessie Pendergrass

Bessie Pendergrass passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Broken Arrow Nursing Home in Broken Arrow. Bessie was born November 17, 1915 to T.E. and Kate (Howard) Bassham in Muskogee, Ok.
Bessie moved to Ft. Smith, AR at age of 13, where she grew up. She loved to read, travel, baseball and basketball and sports in general, she also loved crocheting.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents and husband; four siblings; and her son, Woodrow, Jr. and his wife, Joanne; and one grandson, Trey.
She is survived by: son, James Pendergrass and wife, JoAnn; son, Robert Pendergrass and wife, Cheri; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel in Tulsa.
