Benaldine Moesta

Benaldine Moesta passed away November 5, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family in Jenks, Oklahoma after a short illness. She was born in Clawson, Michigan to Ora V. and Minnie Cloninger on November 6, 1926. She and Joseph D. Moesta were married 54 years until his death in September 1998. She was a devoted wife and mother raising 5 children with her husband.

Benny (as she was known) worked in the office of Valparaiso First Insurance Company of Valparaiso, Indiana until the age of 84 when she moved to Jenks to be near family. Benny was a woman of faith and active in her church until her health began to fail. She was the woman described in Proverbs 31:10-28. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing her piano, and loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Benny is survived by sons Joseph Jr. (Wife Linda) from Bakersfield, California; Tom from Jenks, Oklahoma; daughter Kathy Creager (husband Pat) from Massillon, Ohio; sons Doug (wife Lydia) from Pensacola, Florida and Dan (wife Donna) from Hastings, Michigan; 21 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. 2 great-great grandchildren.

Her family and friends had gathered for a 90th birthday celebration on November 5th at First Baptist Jenks, however, her death preempted this event and it was altered to a celebration for a life well lived. She will be interred in Valparaiso, Indiana.
