Becky Sayre Bell

Mrs. Becky Sayre Bell. Age 57, of Glenpool, Oklahoma died Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was an Accounting and Treasury Professional for various companies in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma throughout her working career.

Becky Fay Sayre was born in Emporia, Kansas on November 22, 1961, to Merle Lee Sayre and Dorothy Mae Sayre of rural Neosho Rapids, Kansas. She received her GED after two years of high school and started college at Emporia State University. She was later accepted into Hesston College's Nursing Program, but decided Nursing wasn't a path she wanted to pursue. Becky determined to get some work experience to assist her in her next academic selection. She was employed in her early 20s at Kansas State University as an Inventory Control Clerk and was involved with early computer programming in the infancy of personal computers. She relocated to Springfield, Missouri and began Evangel University the Fall of 1988 to pursue a degree in Accounting. She worked part time at Bass Pro Shops Corporate Accounting Department during her college years. She received an AA degree in Mid-Management in May, 1990. In May, 1991, graduated Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting. Upon graduation, Becky relocated to the Tulsa, OK area, for a new job at Amerada Hess' Corporate Accounting Department. After several years, Amerada Hess relocated to Houston, TX. Becky declined the relocation offer. Following Amerada Hess' relocation to Houston, she was employed at Community Care HMO as Treasury Administrator. In 2007, Becky resigned her position to relocate her father from Emporia, KS to her family's new home in Glenpool, OK. Following her father's relocation, Becky was employed by Catholic Charities in Tulsa as an Accountant for 4 years. In 2012, she accepted a position at Family & Children's Services in Tulsa as Treasury Manager.

She is survived by her husband, Corey William Bell of the home; children, Nicole Bell Benso (Shawn) of Glendale, AZ, Carmen Christine Brashier (Brandon) of Breckenridge, CO, Allison Grace Bell of Rochester, MN, and Caleb Vitaliy Bell of Weatherford, OK; Grandchildren, Mackenzie Benso and Bella Benso of Glendale, AZ., and many distant cousins and relatives.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January, 22, 2019, at CrossPoint Church, Sand Springs, with Pastors Luke Crain and Mike Buie officiating.
