Barbara Vanderpool

Barbara Vanderpool of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at the age of 76. Barbara was born on April 7, 1944 to parents Cliff and Isabelle Perry in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Barbara lived in Okmulgee for most of her life. She was a graduate of Okmulgee High School in the class of 1962 and would go on to attend Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She would go on to meet Jim Vanderpool where they would marry on April 23, 1966 and have three children, Jay, Brad and Blake.

She loved being with her family and her husband Jim. Being married for 54 years is proof of many blessed years her and Jim had together. Barbara can be described as an honest person who loved her family and friends.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Isabelle Perry.

Those left to remember her stories, laugh and smile include children, Jay Vanderpool, Brad Vanderpool, Blake Vanderpool and wife Sheila. Siblings include Linda Turner of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Becky Sharp of Okmulgee, Oklahoma as well as three grandchildren, Perry, Tristan, and Ethan.

A visitation will be held at Schaudts Okmulgee Chapel on Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Followed by a graveside service at the Okmulgee Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
