Barbara was a woman of many talents and passions. She had an undeniable love for fishing and would often take trips to Minnesota to enjoy the serene lakes and the thrill of the catch. Her patience and calm demeanor made her an avid fisherman who didn't mind spending hours in a boat with a pole in the water, appreciating the simple joys of nature.
Barbara's life was also marked by a profound love story. She and her husband, James Robert Trunk, were happily married for 54 years. Their journey began in Illinois, where they shared their vows and embarked on a life full of shared adventures and enduring love.
Gardening was her therapy, and she had a green thumb that brought life and color to her surroundings. Barbara adored digging in the dirt and nurturing her garden, finding solace and peace in the act of tending to her beloved plants and flowers.
In addition to her passion for fishing and gardening, Barbara was a talented seamstress. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Sharon, and her brother, Harold "Doc," both residing in Illinois.
