Barbara Sherra Beck

Barbara Beck, born on January 3, 1935 in Hooks, TX to the late Henry Hooks and Maryjane Hooks, passed from this life on June 22, 2022.

Barbara could often be found in her kitchen, creating food with lovely scents and flavors. She was known best for her cinnamon rolls which everyone loved, but other "fan favorites" were coconut pie and lemon meringue. Barbara was known as a caring, devoted, and loving person. She cared deeply for her family and left a beautiful legacy.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobo Wallace, her second husband Dalton Beck, daughter Jana Westfall, and granddaughters Lori Westfall and Cristi Wallace.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Scott Beck and wife Marissa, Doug Wallace and wife Mary; her daughter, Stacey Calhoun and husband Keith; three sisters, Pat Stewart and husband Dan, Peggy Woods and husband James, Donna Stone and husband Bill, five grandsons, Miles Calhoun, Edwin Villanueva and wife Gina, Eric Villanueva, Edward Villanueva and wife Lan, Dalton Beck; four granddaughters, Ashley Rich and husband Justin, Natalie Carlos and husband Roberto, Lindsay Ward, Caroline Pulickal and husband Tony; as well as great-grandchildren Victoria, Elizabeth, Marcus, Lily, Aubrey, Joseph, Josie, Juniper, Olive, Chloe, Amelia, Parker, Bella, London, Willow, Conner, and Michael.

No local services planned. There will be a private family service at a later date.
