Barbara Jean Wells

Barbara Jean Wells, age 68, passed away with loving family by her side on November 29, 2020.

Barbara was born on August 8, 1952 in Claremore, OK to her parents, Bob Womack and Jo Helen (Prather) Womack.

Barbara obtained her master's degree and spent her career caring for others as a Social Worker. She worked for Rogers County DHS, The University of Oklahoma NRC and the Parent Child Center of Tulsa.

When she wasn't working Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved to read, and listen to music. She also enjoyed the tranquility of being out on the water.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother Robert "Bobby" Womack and sister Ruth Brown.

Barbara leaves behind many loving memories with her family; her mother, Jo Helen O'Dell, daughter, Mandy Wells of Tulsa, son, Beau Wells and wife Melissa Mallery-Wells, of Allen, Texas; grandaughters, Lily Wells-Edmonds, Emilia Wells; grandsons, Robert Wells and Hudson Wells, Mason Dodd and one niece, Jody Brown along with other loving relatives and a host of friends.
