Barbara Jean Mulkey age 69 passed away August 7, 2008 at her residence in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Barbara was born August 26, 1938 to Floyd and Lavina (Fipps) Maxfield in Lucine, Oklahoma. She graduated with the class of 1956 from Broken Arrow High School. She married Raymond Mulkey November 17, 1956 in Bixby, Oklahoma. Barbara worked as a truck broker for B. J. Transportation.
Some of Barbara's hobbies were collecting coffee cups, traveling and working on the computer. She also had a love of animals. Barbara was a witness to her faith and her teaching people the bible will be remembered by her friends and family. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness all of her life.
Barbara Jean Mulkey was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Lavina Maxfield; her brother: Dean Maxfield and two children.
She is survived by her husband: Raymond Mulkey of Bixby, Oklahoma; her children: Becky Cleary of Owasso, Oklahoma; Dale and Miki Mulkey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Robin Mulkey of Bixby, Oklahoma; sisters: Kathleen and Jim Paxson; Sandra and Sam Egnor; Carolyn and Bob Campbell; Darleen and Bill Steele along with four precious grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bixby, Oklahoma. Mr. James Barnes will officiate.
