Barbara Irene Stevens

Barbara Irene Stevens passed away with loving family by her side on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the age of 85 years.

Barbara was born on December 8, 1936 in Akron, OH to her parents, Patrick and Bertha (McCullough) Delaney.

Barbara was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. When she was younger she enjoyed horses. Barbara loved to go shopping and thoroughly enjoyed trips to Branson. She also enjoyed cooking sweets for family and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband, Darwyn Stevens; father, Patrick Delaney; mother, Bertha Delaney.

Barbara leaves many loving memories with her family, son Mark Claxton; daughter Lori Claxton; granddaughter Sharissa Claxton; grandson Dylan Claxton; granddaughter Trista Claxton; granddaughter Kazina Claxton; grandson Zade Claxton; her best friend Darlene Jenkins; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Committal Service will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Barbara will be interred with her husband, Darwyn Stevens.
