Barbara Elaine Ribordy

Barbara Elaine Middleton Ribordy, 69, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed peacefully on April 27th, 2022 at Emerald Care Center in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Elaine was born November 21, 1952, in Henryetta, OK, to Everett & Berneice (Childs) Middleton. She attended elementary school in Chelsea, OK, and graduated from Lindsborg High School in 1971. Elaine attended Kansas State University and aspired to be an interior designer before finding another purpose in helping place soldiers on their next assignment at Fort Riley in Kansas. She later found a passion for childcare. She incorporated an in-home daycare in Casper, Wyoming where she cared for numerous children from babies to pre-teens. She was very involved with her children's activities and worked as a Teacher Aide while they were in elementary school. Elaine enjoyed gardening, chocolate, reading, traveling, chocolate, cooking, collecting recipes & later napkins (love ya, mom), spending time with family, laughing, enjoying life and chocolate.

She is survived by her children: son, Justin & Wynter Ribordy; and daughter, Emily & Daniel Steward; grandchildren: Echo, Lilly, Kyler, Brielle & Kamden; siblings: Joyce Dishman, Geraldine & Glenn Williams, Sandra & Larry Bale, and James & Judy Middleton; former spouse, Clyde & Anna Ribordy; and an extensive list of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Berneice, and brother-in-law, Jim Dishman.
