Barbara Dean Collyar

Collyar, Barbara Dean, 65 went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 2, 2004 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Collyar was born in Eram, Oklahoma October 30, 1938 to Herbert Clarence Floyd and Velma Faye Box. Mrs. Collyar was a 1956 graduate of Okmulgee High School, Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She married Paul LeRoy Collyar and resided in Glenpool for 9 years. Mrs. Collyar was a member of Harvard Avenue Christian Church since 1982 and upon moving to Glenpool became a member of First Baptist Church . Mrs. Collyar retired from Oklahoma Credit Union where she was a secretary.
Mrs. Collyar was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband, Paul LeRoy Collyar, Glenpool, Oklahoma; son, Ken Perkins, Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Ronda Palmer and her husband Frank, Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 step sons and 2 step daughters; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 5, 2004 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma with Brett Allen, Pastor officiating. Private family burial services will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery Okmulgee, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Diabetes Association.
