Barbara A Lavendusky

Barbara A. Lavendusky, a resident of Henryetta, was born on April 28, 1914 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Lynette Patrum and Matthew Lamer. She married Bill Lavendusky on November 1, 1932 at the St. Michaels Church of Henryetta. She was the Assistant Vice President of the American Exchange Bank for over 26 years. She was a member of the St. Michaels Altar society, the Henryetta Medical Center Auxiliary, the Blood Bank (American Red Cross), and the Henryetta Historical Society. She passed away on March 1, 2010 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years. Barbara is survived by her three sons, William L. Lavendusky & wife Elaine of Tulsa, OK, James Ronald Lavendusky of Tulsa, OK, and Thomas A. Lavendusky of Lawton, OK; grandsons, Steven Lavendusky of Austin TX, Robert Lavendusky of Lawrence, KS, Paul Lavendusky of Desota, KS, Thomas A. Lavendusky II and wife Jodie of Bixby, OK, Michael Lavendusky of Virginia, and Andrew Lavendusky of Lansing, Michigan; granddaughter, Barbara Aeri Lavendusky of Lawton, OK; brother, Matthew B. Lamer Jr. of Pennsylvania, great granddaughters, Victoria Lavendusky of Bixby, OK, and Lillian Lavendusky of Bixby,1 Great Great Granddaughter Zoey Goldstein of Austin, Texas. OK; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William Lavendusky, on January 2, 1990, her father, M.B. Lamer, on January 2, 1948, her mother, Lynette Lamer on July 26, 1981, and by her sisters, Doris Johnson and Mildred Richeson. Services for Barbara will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10:00am at the St. Michael's Catholic Church of Henryetta with Father Peter Phung officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home. Viewing will be Thursday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
