Arthur John Weaver

Arthur John Weaver age 87 passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital Tulsa, OK.
Art was born July 16, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Roy L. Weaver and Ina P. Bradford. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School. Art served his country in United States Army during World War II and was the co-owner of A.J. Weaver and Company for 75 years. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Simmon.
Art was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews John Weaver and Steve White.
He is survived by his brother: Roy L. Weaver and his wife Betty of Glenpool; his sisters: Mary L. Young and Evelyn PaPa and her husband Victor; his nephews: Victor PaPa and Roy PaPa; his nieces: Lou Howell, Sue Robinson and Judith Ungerman; his great nephews: Aaron Weaver, Jerry Stacy, and Gregory Falconette; his great nieces: Teri Machtolff, Amber Harris, and Courtney Fair along with many cousins, great-great nieces and nephews and other family members, friends and acquaintances.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Aaron Hunter will officiate.
