Arthur Berl Fleak, Jr.

Arthur Berl Fleak, Jr. age 70, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. Better known as Art, to all his family and friends, he was born on October 14, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the son of the late Arthur B. Sr. and Martha R. (Motzer) Fleak.

Art was a 1965 graduate from Will Rogers High School and attended Oklahoma State University on a football scholarship where he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. While at OSU, he was a starting lineman for the Cowboy's football team. He continued his education and received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1972. Art not only practiced Law but he also taught Business Law for the past 25 years at Tulsa Community College.

Art was a fun-loving guy that loved to travel but was happiest at his sons, nephews and grandsons sporting events. Sports were a big part of his life and in his earlier years he coached youth football and soccer. He was known to have a good heart and fought for equality for all.

Survivors include his sister, Debbie (Fleak) Crissup and her husband, Jack and their four children; loving partner, Ada Jane Brownlee; son, Larry Calton (Bonnie); daughter, Chyla Gibbs and son Jim Gibbs; twelve grandchildren, several great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew, plus many loving cousins and caring friends!

A special viewing will be held at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, Monday, June 4th, 2018 5PM to 8PM. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 at 11AM at Asbury United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
