Anthony, "Big Oz," was born February 22, 1972, and passed away July 1, 2022, at his residence in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 50.
Anthony graduated from Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and enjoyed playing football for the Indians. His favorite football teams were the Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas City Chiefs. Oz also was an avid video game enthusiast. Anthony was a custodian for the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma for many years before his retirement.
Big Oz is preceded in death by his mother Sarah Factor Wolf, maternal grandmother and grandfather Betsy and Joseph Factor, maternal great grandmother and great grandfather Lizzie Foster Powell and Topley Powell.
Also, preceding Anthony paternally is his father Raymond Rash and his grandmother Helen Gibson. Grandmother Helen is buried on Mvskoke Complex grounds just Southwest of the original Creek Nation Offices. This land belonged to Helen, and citizens are thankful for her generosity.
Survivors include his stepfather T.J. Wolf, sisters Julie Kay and Ramona Renee, four aunties Patricia, Doris, Gloria, and Bonnie. Five uncles Luther, Joe, David, Mose and Gilbert Conner. Although Oz had no children, he has 8 nephews, 6 nieces, and many cousins he loved.
Big Oz was a quiet, private individual, but he was loved tremendously and will be missed by many.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Big Cussetah United Methodist Church, 20566 Prairie Bell Road, Morris, Oklahoma, with Pastor Heather Jones, Gloria Lowe, and Wotko Long officiating.
