Anthony Enos Cotta

Anthony Enos Cotta, Tulsa resident, died suddenly April 21, 2018 at the age of 73 years. He was born in Fall River, MA on July 18, 1944 to his parents, Alvin Enos Cotta and Mary (Almeida) Cotta.

Anthony had to quit school at a young age due to his father passing away. Anthony had to work to support his family.

Tony worked for McElroy Manufacturing as a CNC Machine Operator. He started his career with McElroy in September 1980 as a NC Mill Operator. He worked for over 30 years until his retirement in May 2009. However, he found retired life dull and boring so he returned to work part time May 2010. He was a talented and skilled machinist that continued to grow and develop throughout his career. He took pride in his work and enjoyed sharing his knowledge by teaching and helping his co-workers.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alvin E. Cotta and Arther Cotta; sisters, Dorothy Vanderveer and Beatrice Edward.

He leaves many loving memories with his family, daughter, Sharon Cotta and grandchildren, Destiney, Bethany and Damon, of Terlton, OK, son, Steven Cotta and granddaughter, Ariel, of Broken Arrow, OK, daughter Cheryl (Cotta) Fields and husband Brad and grandchildren, Cody, Brandon and Sarah of Bethalto, IL, Diane M. Cotta-Keyser and grandchildren Joseph, Jessica, and Renee Of Waterton, NJ; as well as 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his long-time companion, Trena Jones; sister, Evelyn Massey; as well as many other loving family members. Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 27, 2018 at Schaudt-Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel, with Gary Volz officiating.
