Anthony A. Jones

Anthony "Tony" Arthur Jones age 35 passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Tony was born May 13, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Anthony Jones and Marilynn Elaine (McCann) Tucker. He graduated from Haskell High School with the Class of 1994. Tony attended Northeastern Oklahoma and Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. While in high school he lettered in football, baseball and basketball. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and golf. Tony married Johanna Elizabeth Burrows on October 4, 2002 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tony worked as a Founder of Ministry for Y NOT Jesus. Previously he worked as a recruiter for Aero Tech Staffing. He was a member of The Landing Community Church in Glenpool.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arthur McCann, Jennings Jones, Jessie Jones and his father in-law: Steven Burrows. He is survived by his wife: Johanna Jones; his son: Joel Jones; his daughter: Eden Jones all from Jenks; his father: Jim Jones and his wife, Frances of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother: Marilynn Tucker and her husband, Stan Tucker of Haskell, Oklahoma; his sisters: Melissa Miller and her husband, Ernie of Harlem, Georgia; Tiffany Adams and her husband, Aaron of Webber Falls, Oklahoma; his brothers: Chris Jones and his wife, Jessica of Independence, Kansas; Jordan Tucker and his wife, Kacy of Haskell, Oklahoma; Jacob Tucker and his wife, Hilary of Haskell, Oklahoma; step-brother: Clay Brown and his wife, Paige of Bixby, Oklahoma; step-sister: Teri Reddick and her husband; Rodney of Bixby, Oklahoma; mother in-law: Cheryl Bucher of Tulsa; sister in-law: Julianne Burrows of Tulsa; brother in-law: James Loucks of San Diego, California; grandparents: BuRaye McCann of Haskell, Oklahoma; Mary and H. A. Tucker of Haskell, Oklahoma; step grandparents: Kenneth and Vera Burkett of Jenks, Oklahoma along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 21st at The Landing Community Church, 596 West 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Pastor Joe Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Haskell Memorial Gardens, Haskell, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers are: Chris Jones, Jordan Tucker, Jacob Tucker, Aaron Adams, Rodney Reddick and Ernie Miller.
