Annie Mae Phillips age 63 passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her Tulsa, Oklahoma residence. Annie was born August 1, 1950 in Jackson, Mississippi to Abe Lindsay and Mary Lee (Richie) Lindsay. She graduated from Brinkley High School and received a Bachelors Degree from Mississippi Valley State College. She worked for the past sixteen years as a Housing Secretary for ORU in Tulsa. Annie was a twenty year breast cancer survivor and was very proud of this accomplishment. She enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting angels, gospel music, movies, participating in Race for the Cure but most especially, spending time with her grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lindsay, her sister, Mary Guice and husband, Clarence and her brother Joseph Lindsay. She survived by her father, Abe Lindsay of Jackson, Mississippi, her sons, Lee Phillips and his wife, Christin of Olathe, Kansas Jerald Phillips and his wife Robin of Glenpool, Oklahoma, her brothers, James Lindsay and his wife Kay of Victorville, California, Richard Lindsay and his wife, Bridgette of Charleston, South Carolina, Jake "Little Brother" Marshall of Jacksonville, Mississippi, Albert Marshall, her sister, Esperanza Lindsay-Bell and her husband, Ronshea of Memphis Tennessee, her very "special" niece, Nicole "Precious" Jackson, her loving grandchildren, Ayanna, Ella, Abram, Jalen, Jace, Marittza along with other nieces, nephews, family members, friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Schaudt's Funeral Service, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
