Anna Virginia Nelson

Anna Virginia (Kilpatrick) Nelson age 81 passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in Mounds, Oklahoma.
Anna was born June 23, 1928 in Hallsville, Texas to Thomas Asbury Kilpatrick and Jessie Mae (Fyffe) Kilpatrick. She attended Hallsville High School in Hallsville, Texas. Ann worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for thirty-five years for the Creek Nation and for Hillcrest Medical Center. She enjoyed fishing, watching television; she loved country music and attending church. Anna was a member of Eufaula Church of Christ. Anna was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Jessie Kilpatrick; her husband: Willard Extol Smith who passed away November 15, 1959 and her second husband: Odis Ray Nelson who passed away November of 1992.
She is survived by her children: Thomas Smith and his wife, Sandy of Georgetown, Ohio; Virginia Tiger and her husband, Monte, Mounds, Oklahoma; Linda Stephens and her husband, Buddy, Eufaula, Oklahoma; James Smith and his wife, Mary of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Carrol Smith of Mounds, Oklahoma; Debbie Crawford of Eufaula, Oklahoma; her brother: James Kilpatrick of Culpepper, Virginia along with seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 14th at Eufaula Church of Christ, Eufaula, Oklahoma. Mr. Charlie Bailey will officiate. Burial will be Tuesday, December 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Marshall, Texas.
