Anna Viola Plunkett

Anna Viola (Jones) Plunkett age 98 passed away April 3, 2009 at Highland Park Nursing Home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Anna was born October 23, 1910 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Burton Thomas Jones and Viola Susan (Benningfield) Jones. Anna worked as a housekeeper for Saint Francis Hospital and most recently worked for Beggs Nursing Home for a number of years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Beggs, Oklahoma. Anna liked to crochet, cook, work in her garden and watch her grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband: Ted Plunkett who passed away December 30, 1979; three brothers; her grandson: Greg and her daughter in-law: Mary. Anna is survived by her sons: Marvin G. Plunkett and his wife, Lois of Morris, Oklahoma; Kenneth C. Plunkett and his wife, Lorene of Beggs, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from 12:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, April 8th at Assembly of God Church in Beggs, Oklahoma. Reverend Robert Yandell will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Beggs Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Kevin Plunkett, Casey Plunkett, Joey Plunkett, William Coshatt, Robert Crouch and Burt Jones.
