Annie E. Terrill passed from this life to join her Savior and many beloved family members and friends early Sunday morning at the age of 93. Her final hope and wish was fulfilled when her spirit left this broken earthly body and took on her perfect heavenly body. Annie was born on July 26, 1917 in the little town of Mena, Arkansas to Beulah Katy Lichlyter Moody and Edward Clayton Moody, the 7th child in a family of 10. She was raised in and around the Mena & Foreman, Arkansas area, where her father was a farmer. She attended a small one-room school until the 8th grade. She had many tales of growing up on a farm, picking cotton and all the joys as well as hardships that came with life at that time. Mom was an avid gardener and loved nothing more than fishing, growing flowers and spending time with her family. She always seemed to make a way when no way seemed possible and was a trouper until the end. Unfortunately, time takes its toll on us all and Mom was more than ready to enter into the next dimension where life continues at a perfect pace. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Riley Terrill; her sons, Jimmie Bruce Pritchett, Richard (Buck) Hodges and Gary Dale Hodges. Also, her special grandson, Jordan Riley William Wheeler. She was also preceded by her sisters, Jessie McDonald, Neva Callens, Leona Wilcox, Esther Kyles, Edna Edens and Donna Lee. Two brothers, Troy Moody and Cecil Frye. She is survived by her children, Albert (Butch) Hodges and Charlotte of Ada, OK, Sandra Miller and Bo of Hartshorne, OK, Sherry Gail Hodges of Inola, OK, Claudie Hodges and Kristin of Boise, ID and Deborah Wheeler and Brent Bain of Schulter, OK. Also stepchildren, Donald Hodges and Inga of OKC, Lura Helen Mullican of Ada, Richard Terrill and Nancy of Ponca City and Ray Terrill and Delores of Schulter; sister, Vernie Carver of Lockesburg, AK; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also, very special friends of the family, Sonny Murphy and Ronnie Lambilotte. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Burial will follow the service at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
