Amy E Manning

December 19, 1969 — March 20, 2017

“Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come,” Proverbs 31:25.

Amy Manning (nee Clow) won her victory on March 20, 2017. She fought her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis with strength and grace and is now whole again in the arms of Jesus. Amy was born on December 19, 1969. She was a precious daughter, loving wife and gentle mother.

She attended the University of Tulsa, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology. Due to her declining health she was unable to complete the Master’s Program. She was very loved by the children under her guidance during her practicum.

Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale; for Amy that was her husband, Chris. They were only married a few short years before she was diagnosed with MS. This didn’t change their love for nor their happiness in each other. When Amy no longer felt she could go on, Chris gave her the will to live.
When she could no longer take care of herself, Chris stepped in and did everything. He was a gracious caregiver, never leaving her side. With all their struggles, they continued to be happy because they had each other.

Amy was blessed with two amazing daughters, Sophia Hannah and Sara Grace.
They are both beautiful, smart and talented, just like their mother. It is a joy to see Amy living on in them.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Danny Clow and Walter and Jeannie Ferguson. She is survived by her beloved husband Chris; her father Rick Clow (Gloria); her mother Elizabeth Stanley; sister, MacKenzie Harkins and her cherished daughters, Sophie and Gracie.

Our family wishes to thank Maplewood Care Center staff. They went above and beyond in taking care of Amy and meeting her every need. We also would like to extend a special thank you to Grace Hospice for their kindness.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Amy's Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Fellowship Bible Church, 5434 E. 91st Street, Tulsa, OK.
