Alvin Wesley Hall age 71 passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at his Glenpool residence. Alvin was born May 14, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Floyd Hall and Maurine (Green) Hall. He was one of nine children. He served in the United States Army and served time overseas in Germany during World War II. Alvin worked for Arrow Trucking Company for twenty-five years and most recently worked as a door greeter at the Glenpool Wal-Mart in the Lawn and Garden Department. Alvin enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard or just being outside. When he wasn't working or with his family he could be found at the nearest lake or pond fishing. Alvin loved his children very much. He was always there for them; no matter what they needed. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Maurine Hall; his sisters: Carolyn L. Hall and Mary Ann Hall. He is survived by his children: Carolyn Christine (Hall) McCrary and her husband, Derrick of Sand Springs; Lesa Diane Hall of Sand Springs; David Hall of Glenpool; the mother of his children: Rose Mary (Hayes) Hall; his loving grandchildren: Devan McCrary, Kaylee Looney, Jamie Walter, Dylan Walter along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Jim Kent will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
