Alma Wadley Lackey, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the age of 94. She was born May 4, 1919 to Benjamin Harrison and Ester Lee (Wilson) Spears in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was member of the Second Baptist Church in Okmulgee. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James T. Wadley; second husband, David Lackey; two sons, David Mark and James Lee Wadley and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Don Wadley and wife, Christie of Okmulgee; five grandchildren, Lance, Andy and Bruce Wadley, Kristina Parker and Sabina Wadley; seven great grandchildren, Phillip, Alma, Kate and Kylie Wadley, Lexi, Cadance and Karalynn Parker and numerous other relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Second Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Burch officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home and Crematory in Okmulgee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvin Brady, Rodney Weller, Steve Weller, Everett Horn and Bobby Horn. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
