Alma M. Whiteley

Alma M. Whiteley, 90, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away in the presence of loved ones on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the Glenwood Healthcare Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma.


Alma was born in Henryetta, OK on May 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Eura Randolph and William Riggs. Alma was married to Lloyd Whiteley on November 6, 1944 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was employed at Walmart as a Sales Associate. Alma enjoyed sewing, gardening and home remodeling. Family and Friends remember the wonderful family dinners she prepared. Alma was involved in numerous church activities through the Assembly of God congregations.

Alma is survived by son Fred Whiteley and wife Sonna of Lawndale, California and daughters in law Robbie Whiteley of Beggs and Pat Whiteley of Broken Arrow, OK, Grandchildren: Kristy Whiteley, Stacy Whiteley, Matthew Whiteley, and Chris Whiteley. Great Grandchildren: Morgan and Madison Whiteley, Kameron Whiteley, Izzy Hart, Luke Whiteley and Sam Whiteley, and a sister Opal Davis living in Bakersfield, California.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Whiteley and sons Jim, Dave, and Steve Whiteley.

Visitation with Family will be Sunday, August 6th, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Schaudt Funeral Service 220 S. Alabama, Okmulgee. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 7th, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Schaudt Funeral Service 220 S. Alabama, Okmulgee, OK.. Interment to follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
