Allen G. Talley , 76, died July 15, 2022 at Heritage Point Memory Care Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born April 8, 1946, in Seneca, Kansas, the son of Dr. Walter and Norma (Howard) Talley.
Allen grew up in Olathe, Kansas and attended Kansas State University where he earned a degree in Geophysics and completed an Air Force ROTC curriculum. He was also a member of the KSU Gymnastics Team. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at five different military bases including Korat AFB, Thailand during the Vietnam War. Upon discharge from the military, he worked as a Geophysicist for various oil companies.
In 1996 he completed a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and was employed by The Williams Companies of Tulsa, Oklahoma as an Environmental Engineer until his retirement.
Allen married Louise Adelhardt of Zenda, Kansas and they eventually settled in Bixby, Oklahoma. They celebrated 51 years of marriage in August, 2021. Allen served as a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church Choir for over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Norma Talley.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Louise, is his daughter, Jennifer and her husband, David Cunningham, of Bixby; son, Ryan Talley and his wife, Raivan, of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Diana Cunningham, Kathryn Cunningham, Rowan Talley, Henry Talley, Vera Talley, and Shepherd Talley; one brother, Gordon Talley and his wife, Helja, of Plano, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 6:30pm at St. Clement Catholic Church, 15501 S. Memorial Drive Bixby, OK 74008. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am Saturday July 30, 2022 also at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, 9101 S Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74137.
