Allen Dean Smith, 81 years old, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his residence in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his family members.

Allen was born November 28, 1933 in Hydro, Oklahoma to Allen Thomas Smith and Alice Ada (Sprinkle) Smith. On September 23, 1951 he married the love of his life, Shirley Jean Stevens. Allen was a small business owner in the food manufacturing business and was a "natural salesman". He owned Golden Burger Restaurant in the 1970's. Allen started manufacturing chicken fried steak and was a wholesaler to Sonic, Western Sizzler and KFC to name a few of his customers. Allen was a very "witty" person. He coached his sons little league baseball teams; he was an active tennis player and had the nickname - "Human Backboard" - and won numerous awards playing tennis. Allen attended Church at Battle Creek in Broken Arrow.

He was preceded in death by parents, Allen and Alice Smith, his two sisters and his three brothers. Allen is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Smith, his sons, Gary Smith (Lera), Monty Smith (Terri), grandchildren: Steven Smith (Stacey), Allen Smith, Brittnie Driver (Shawn), Brant Jacobson (Callie), Colby Jacobson (Laura), Morgan Smith, Jason Smith, Lexi Smith, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, other family members, numerous friends and acquaintances.
