Alfred Benjamin Chapin, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on November 8, 1952, in the heart of Tulsa to Julius and Dorothy Chapin, Alfred's life was a testament to love, kindness, and passion.
Alfred is survived by his siblings: Sister Diane Cerchio and husband Gerard, Sister Laura Foshee and husband Randy, and Brother Warren Chapin. He was a cherished uncle to Nephew Charles, Nephew Laurence, Neice Christina Mulcahy and husband Earin, and their children Ellie, Allie, and Jaxson Mulcahy.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Vicki, Alfred's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Alfred had a zest for life and a passion for sports, with baseball holding a special place in his heart. He found joy in the melodies of music, the lively discussions of talk radio, and the nostalgic charm of trains. Finding joy in the stories they told and the history they held. His adventurous spirit led him to embark on countless bus trips, exploring every corner of the country, with the exception of North Dakota. He took great pride in his travels and the memories they brought.
