Aleta Richardson passed away on March 5, 2025. Aleta was born on October 28, 1946, to the late Raymond and Myrtle Christenberry in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Aleta enjoyed attending church and gardening. She worked as a secretary for the Navy Department in Washington D.C. prior to becoming a mother. Later, she worked as a school bus driver, driving a special education bus. She was known for her big smile and her passion for praising the Lord.
Aleta was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Myrtle Christenberry, husbands George Stanley and Lloyd Richardson, her brothers, Gary, Ethrie, and Carlos, and sisters Leveda Graham, Latha Hawkins, Jane Camby, Iona Crim, and Laverne Grimes.
She is survived by her son, Michael, daughter Pamella and her husband Derek, grandson, Landon, granddaughters Ashley and Hailey, great-grandchildren Lillian, Blakeley, and Jensen, siblings, Josy Sill, Diane Lynch, Ramona Christenberry, Alberta Wells, Arlis Christenberry, and Ernest Christenberry and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church 2100 N. Bryan, Shawnee, OK.
