Agnes Laverna Worthan

A celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Agnes LaVerna Worthan was born October 2, 1928 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Tom and Mary Hampton. She passed away on July 4, 2018 at her home in Jenks, Oklahoma.

LaVerna was a lifelong Jenks Trojan fan, an avid card player who was a Bridge Life Master. She owned and managed LaVern's Drive for many years and many locals fondly recall her great food and malts. In her later years she enjoyed playing the slot machine at the local casinos or in Las Vegas.

Agnes is preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Jr., Bill and Marvin Hampton.

Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her sister, Pat Winkle of Jenks; two sons, Dean and wife, Vivian of Glenpool, Doug and wife Linda of Broken Arrow; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
