Aaron Mitchell Brown

December 22, 1976 — July 17, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Aaron Mitchell Brown, a father of two beautiful children, greatly loved son, beloved nephew, and dear friend to many. Born on December 22, 1976, Aaron's life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and a spirit of adventure. He departed this world on July 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

Aaron is survived by his beloved children, Kiane Brown and Hudson Brown, who were the lights of his life and greatest accomplishment. He is also mourned by his parents Stephen and Diane Brown, his Aunt Valda Loop of Tulsa, and Uncle Fran and Aunt Joanne of Kansas City, and his Uncle Mike and Aunt Cheryl Conklin of Sand Springs. His cousin brother, Eric Loop, along with a host of other cousins including Ramona, Anita, Helen, Becky, Sarah, Beth, Candy, and Madison, share in the sorrow of his loss. Aaron was especially close to his cousin Eric, who he truly considered his brother.

As a youth Aaron loved to tear things apart, just to see how they worked. Duct tape and screw drivers were essential to have around. His early sports included soccer and Taekwondo, riding bicycles and playing with his army figurines and Hot Wheels. Oh the sound effects in his home. More than once his parents almost pulled over when they heard sirens, until they realized they were coming from the back seat. Aaron attended Memorial Bible Church and Tulsa Christian School, and was involved in the youth group and went on Mission trips. He was a First Class Boy Scout, and always enjoyed electronics and just about any gadget he could get his hands on. He loved animals, and always had a soft heart for others in need.

Aaron attended Memorial High School, where he forged lifelong friendships and began his journey into adulthood. His passion for the great outdoors was evident in his love for camping and being an avid outdoorsman. A true patriot, Aaron proudly displayed a huge American flag in his front yard and had a deep appreciation for military history, often immersing himself in military movies and the stories of the Band of Brothers. A neighbor once mailed him a letter expressing their appreciation for his display of the flag and support for law enforcement.

Aaron was a culinary enthusiast, especially known for his grilling prowess. He found joy in cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, bringing people together with his delicious creations. His talent for photography allowed him to capture the beauty of the world around him, preserving moments that would become cherished memories.

Aaron was a member of Tulsa Stagehands Local 354, having grown up under his fathers training, who served as Business Agent for Local 354 for 36 years. Aaron was a master of many skills and worked numerous events at the BOK Center, Performing Arts Center, Oral Roberts, and Fairgrounds over the years, as well as in surrounding areas. Early in his career a major achievement was working for Morpheus Lighting Company and touring with Lyle Lovette. Aaron's bond with his Union Brothers was one of mutual respect and camaraderie, and they, too will deeply miss him.

Above all, Aaron's greatest love was for his children. He took immense pride in being their father and always had great hopes for their future.

His parents, to those who were close to Aaron and knew him well, wish to express how very thankful they are for you who were truly an extended family to him. You cared for him through good times and hard times, and we are so grateful.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia A. (Hall) Brown, and his grandmother Hazel Hartz, who undoubtably welcomed him with open arms.

Aaron Mitchell Brown will be remembered for his warm smile, his generous heart, and the way he touched the lives of those around him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace at last, forever remembered and forever loved.
