Vernon Vetter

Vernon Eugene Vetter age 87 passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at St. John Medical Centers, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Vernon was born August 17, 1925 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Lewis Paul Vetter and Dorothy Daile (Kinley) Vetter. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1947 and attended college. Vernon enlisted into the United States Navy and was honorability discharged after serving nine years. He married Nancy Marie Belcher on September 3, 1948. Vernon enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a Scout Master for twenty years. Before retiring Vernon worked as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents: Lewis Paul and Dorothy Vetter. He is survived by his wife Nancy Marie Vetter of Tulsa, his daughter Cyndi Vetter of Tulsa, his son Rodney Vetter and his wife, Kathy of Green Oaks, Illinois and his granddaughter Kinsey Vetter.
