Ryan Michael Cowick, 39, of Glenpool, Oklahoma passed peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Rogers, Arkansas October 28, 1983 to Mike and Lynn Cowick.
Ryan attended Gravette High School in Gravette, Arkansas graduating in 2002. This was the same year Ryan met the future love of his life, Ping. He later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma with his master's degree.
In 2013, Ryan and Ping moved to California while she finished school. They then moved back to Oklahoma and married July 4, 2015. That is when Ryan also went to work for the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health.
Ryan loved being a husband and father. He enjoyed traveling, except the flying part, reading, music, gaming but mostly spending time with his family.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Ping; children, Raelynn Ming Cowick and Galvin Tin Cowick; parents, Mike and Lynn Cowick; brother, Andrew Cowick; sister and brother-in-laws, Sarah Ling and Gregory Bradley, Sandra Juen Souvannachak and Dustin Pfahler as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Cancer Research, Tulsa Counseling and Recovery Services or Mental Health Association and Housing Solutions.
Memorial services will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Schaudt Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service, 1329 E. 151st St. Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033.
