Richard Charles Washko

Richard Charles Washko, 82, of Ponca City, OK, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Saint Francis Hospital, with family at his side. He was born on December 11, 1934 to Charles and Beatrice (Hawk) Washko. He was a proud veteran of the National Guard. He worked many tireless years for Amoco as an accountant and lease analyst. He proudly served, as a deacon for many years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Sapulpa and St. Mary's of Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Washko; sister, Judy Shimer; and parents, Charles and Beatrice (Hawk) Washko.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Washko of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Cindy Sloan and husband, Larre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Allison, Michael and Emily; great grandchildren; Olivia and Caroline. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Saint Francis Hospital, most especially the teams on 4 North and 7 West, as well as the staff at Burgundy Place.

Private services will be held at Saint Bernard Catholic Church Tulsa, OK.
