Nathan Isaiah Hull was born on October 28, 1982, in Tulsa, OK to his parents, Toby and Polly (Duboise) Hull. He graduated from Charles Page High School in 2001 where he played football and was known as a gifted sketch artist. Nate had many talents and worked at a variety of different jobs in his adult life including Night Shift Manager at Warehouse Market, Manager at Big Al's Healthy Foods, and most recently as a DJ and bouncer. Nate was also a well-known singer/songwriter and musician who performed as a solo artist as well as in several bands in the Tulsa music scene including Pushing Reason, Mr. Pistol, Madfly, Stun, Rude Jester, Filthy Gorgeous, Streetlight Karma, The Addiction, as well as many others.
On July 30th the world in which we live in was shook by the senseless murder that took the life of a Tulsa hero. Nathan was gunned down after confronting a would-be burglar at one of his work locations. Known by most everyone as Nate, Nater Tot, Nate Dog, and Nate the Great; he was a Tulsa musician, artist, DJ, and most importantly a father and good Samaritan who lost his life in doing what he did for most people... protecting them or their property.
The loss of Nate has had a huge impact not only on his children and family but also on the Tulsa music scene and his many friends. Nate will be forever missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by brother, Ian Hull. Nathan leaves many loving memories with his family, father Toby Hull; sister Crystal Sage and husband Christopher; brother Joshua Hull and wife Marie; brother Wendell Hull; brother Oswin Hull; daughter Natalie Hull; daughter Kennedy Hull; daughter Rowen Hull; daughter Raegan Hull; son Lincoln Hull; longtime girlfriend, Dawn Peek; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
A fund has been set up for Nate's children- Nathan Hull's Children's Trust c/o the Bank of Oklahoma. The family requests in lieu of flowers please donate towards his children's future. Donations can be made at any Bank of Oklahoma branch. The family has also set up a gofundme account for the children's Trust... https://gofund.me/ec708618
