Murray Stewart Mckinlay

Murray Stewart McKinlay age 48 passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at his Jenks, Oklahoma residence.
Murray was born October 27, 1961 in Yeovil Somerset England to Robert M. McKinlay and Ellen McKinlay. At an early age, like his father, Murray became interested in Aeronautics. He pursued his interest and became a graduate apprentice with British Aerospace. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Aeronautics from the University of Hertfordshire. Murray has lived in the United States for the past twenty years and became a United States citizen. Murray worked as a Design Manager (General Aviation Programs) for Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his spare time Murray enjoyed reading, watching car racing, visiting aircraft museums, sailing, boating and taking care of his two birds.
Murray is survived by his parents: Robert and Ellen McKinlay; his brother: Kenneth McKinlay; his God daughter: Chloe; his companion: Taisha Hall; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and acquaintances.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate.
