She also spent several years teaching music to the elementary grades at Ursuline Academy. The rest of her music career was spent teaching voice and piano at Scott Sound Music Studio in North Dallas, as well as teaching privately. For many years Linda was an active member of the Dallas Music Teachers Association and of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. From time to time, she served as a judge at Regional NATS Competitions. In addition to her love for music, Linda was an avid reader, with many favorite authors and whole series of books which she collected and re-read from time to time. She also enjoyed traveling in the US and in Europe.
