Gaylen Norman Hodges

Gaylen (Gayle) Norman Hodges age 78 passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gaylen was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 10, 1933 to Roy Kenneth Hodges and Nicie Elizabeth Hunter. He and his wife owned and operated Dandi Furniture Store for seventeen years. He lived in the Sapulpa area for the past thirty years coming from Sand Springs. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Gaylen was active in the ministry proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom. He also enjoyed working outdoors, skiing, playing cards, watching movies, and spending time with his family. Gaylen also worked for Terry Gartside Realtor. Gaylen was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nicie Hodges, his loving wife, Montie Jean Hodges (January 31, 2008), three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children, Kandi Fallis and her husband, Dean of Sapulpa, Kristi Holloway and her husband, David of Sapulpa, his son, Dana Hodges and his wife, Rita of Republic, Missouri, his brother Dr. Bruce E. Hodges of Olathe, Kansas, his three grandchildren, Jeremy Hobbs, Matthew Holloway and Rachael Holloway. Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Case Community Center - Gymnasium, 1050 W. Wekiwa Road, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Mr. Harry Fennell will officiate.
