Felix Roman Park, Jr.

August 5, 1934 — July 4, 2021

Felix Roman Park, Jr. was born on August 5, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Felix Roman Park and Frances Hudlin Park. He was the second of five children. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He passed away at the age of 86 on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at his home in Tulsa surrounded by family.

Felix was a devout Catholic and attended Cascia Hall Preparatory School and then graduated from Notre Dame in 1956. After college he went to Officer Candidate School and then served his country in the Navy as a Lieutenant aboard the destroyer USS John S. McCain until 1962. After leaving the military he began a long- lasting career in Finance. He was admired by many of his colleagues for over 50 years.

Felix loved all sports, but he enjoyed playing golf all his life. He participated on the Notre Dame golf team during his time there, but his biggest golf accomplishment was hitting a hole in one on the Masters course in Augusta on number 16. He enjoyed coaching his own children in sports as well as the children of others. On a fall weekend you would be likely to find him enjoying college football (especially Notre Dame) and maybe making a friendly bet or two. Felix enjoyed outdoor time at the lake water skiing and fishing. He also was an avid reader, an excellent cook, and enjoyed a good bourbon. He always had compassion for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Frances Park, his first wife, Ann Matthews Park, his sister Frances Hampton, and his brother George Park.

His survivors include his wife, Jeanne L. Park of Tulsa OK, his children Felix Park, III of Tulsa and Amanda Park Perrine, of Tulsa, Richard Day, of Gilbert, AZ and Ryan Day of Tulsa, OK. His sister Julie Rowan of Galloway, Ohio and brother Paul Park of Birmingham, AL. His grandchildren, William Parker Heflin, Felix R. Park, IV and Hayden Hill Park all of Tulsa, OK. Hayden and Halle Day of Owasso, OK and Nolan Day, Ashton Day, Payton Day, Pierson Day, and Karsten Day of Gilbert, AZ. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed.
