In Loving Memory of Carolyn Yvonne Carter

Yvonne Carter, a woman with a heart full of love, passed away on November 8, 2023, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. She was born on July 19, 1953, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to her loving parents, Robert and Bobbie Barnett.

Yvonne was truly an animal lover at heart. Her affection for all creatures knew no bounds, and she dedicated her time and energy to volunteering at the Sand Springs Animal Shelter. She saw the beauty in every type of animal, and her compassionate spirit shone through in her efforts to provide care and support to those in need.

While Yvonne cherished her love for animals, she also had a passion for the one and only reality show that held a special place in her heart-Survivor. It was a program that captured her imagination and you could be sure that when it aired, you wouldn't find her answering the phone. Her enthusiasm for the show mirrored her zest for life.

Yvonne had an affinity for the soothing colors of blues and greens, which brought her a sense of peace and serenity.

Throughout her professional life, Yvonne served her community with distinction. She worked as a purchasing agent for the city of Sand Springs, contributing to the welfare of her local community. She later embarked on a journey as a Court Clerk for Tulsa County, where she continued to make a difference.

Yvonne is survived by her two beloved daughters, Leslie Nicholes and her husband Toby and Michelle Tidwell and her husband David, her brother Larry Barnett and his wife Linda from Springfield, Missouri, and her sister Gina Stall and her husband Jerry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, each touched by her love and affection.

A Celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at Grace Family Worship Center (107 Greenwood Ave, Mannford, OK 74044) on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Yvonne's memory and share in the love and warmth she brought to their lives.
