Byrl Johnson

Byrl R. Johnson 82 of Jenks, OK passed away, Wednesday, November 21st 2012, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family members. Byrl was born in Stilwell, OK on August 12, 1930, a son of the late Middie (Johnston) and Kenney Johnson. He graduated from Stilwell High School class of 1948 and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. He honorably served in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean War and after serving his country he worked as a finance manager at T.L. Osborn Ministry for 40 years and retired in 1999. Byrl is survived by his wife, Diana Lee Johnson, his son, Wes Johnson, his daughter, Cindy Crouch and her husband Gary, step sons, Rodney Norman and his wife, Missy, and Jackey Norman, his step daughter, Tammy Vincent and her husband Rodney, along with five grandchildren, Christina, Kaylee, Joshua, Jacob, and Alexis along with other family members and a host of friends and acquaintances. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 Carbondale Assembly of God, 2135 West 51st Street, Tulsa, OK with Pastor Phil Taylor officiating. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Road Tulsa, OK 74133. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
